Land at DPS
Ngurah Rai International, Bali’s only airport. Immigration is calmest before 10am and after 9pm, most guests clear it within the hour.
South to the Bukit
VELA is around 45 minutes to an hour south along the Uluwatu road, closer to an hour in traffic. Add a private pickup at booking (IDR 350.000) and your driver waits past arrivals with a sign; share your flight number and we track delays.
The lane
The last stretch winds through Pecatu’s quiet lanes to an unmarked gate on Jl. Pura Kulat. The scenery does the announcing.
Arrive properly
Check-in from 2pm, early bags are always welcome, and the pool is yours while your lodge is finished. A welcome tonic, a cool towel, and no paperwork theatre.
Three ways to make the trip.
Private pickup, the easy one
Booked with your stay for IDR 350.000. Air-conditioned car, a named driver, water in the door pocket. The right answer after a long flight.
Taxi apps
Gojek and Grab both serve the airport; expect IDR 200.000–300.000 to Pecatu. Fine by day, book the return with us for late arrivals.
Self-drive or scooter
Rentals meet you at arrivals. Uluwatu road is an easy drive; we send a pin that survives the last unmarked turn.
